Our Story

Known for our work in the TV & Film industry, it has given us a great insight to how things work on that side of the industry. We saw a gap in the industry where representation for Pasifika people lacked, so with transferable skills and an undeniable drive to support and serve, we couldn't help but take the leap. Although passionately Pasifika, we're not limited to cultural representation. When you see the beauty in one thing, you see it in all things.

Managing Director

When my father and his brother moved to NZ in the 1980s to pursue the rugby dream, it was a time when Poly players were dazzling on the field with their natural, village-bred athleticism. What they weren’t told is that their worth hinged on whether they “made it.” Faced with language barriers, culture shock, and minimal resources, one brother thrived while the other ended up injured and working in a factory. A legendary All Black, once told me that if my uncle had spoken English, he would’ve gone after their necks! The care for our people and the quality of representation were lacking then—and still are. Agency LUMA embodies my father’s redemption through my creative vision. I have been searching for a way to serve and help my people with everything I’ve learnt so far in life, so here I am.

Talent Director

I’ve always loved people. I love chatting with them, connecting with them, and dreaming with them. Tell me your hopes and wishes, and I’ll start strategising for you right away. Whether it was my incredibly supportive childhood or unwavering trust in God’s plan, I truly believe that nothing is unattainable. I went from being a producer’s assistant to landing a lead role with no agent and no experience – just a little bit of courage and a relentless hunger to tell a story that mattered. Thankfully, I was in the right place at the right time, but I know not everyone gets that chance.

Agency LUMA is here to find those hidden gems who are waiting for their shot. We’ll discover talent, back them, and guide our team into spaces they never imagined. It’s not just about finding talent – it’s about championing it. No matter their background or experience, our people deserve to step into any and every room with confidence, knowing they have two loud-mouthed Samoans who see them, believe in them, and are ride or die for their success.

Brand Relationships Manager

In the world of marketing and social media, I learned quickly that our people were often the ones doing the heavy lifting, creatively, culturally, emotionally, yet receiving the least support. I’ve worked across global fitness, lifestyle, gaming, and retail brands, learning exactly how campaigns are built, how talent is chosen, and how influence is valued. Four years in Sydney Advertising sharpened my skills but also made something very clear: I can use what I know from the brand side and support  talent in the agency side.

He uri ahau no Tainui, Whakatōhea, Tūhoe & Ngāti Porou. And with that comes a responsibility. Not just to do the work, but to tautoko.

Joining Agency LUMA is my way of bringing everything I know in digital strategy, influencer management, brand storytelling, back home. My purpose is simple: to help our creators level up, protect their value, and make sure they get the absolute most out of every opportunity. This is my contribution to our collective rise. Our people deserve to shine, not just be seen.

FLO ADAMS

Junior Talent Agent

Flo knows that the hardest job in the world isn’t being in front of the camera, it’s being a present, loving mother while carving out a future for yourself. Returning to the workplace after motherhood isn’t easy, especially in an industry built on speed, demands, and long hours. That’s why Agency LUMA became more than a workplace for her. It is a space that honours her priorities, her pace, and her reality. A place where talent thrives but humanity isn’t lost. Flo shows up with her whole heart, determined to grow, committed to learning, and excited to redefine what a talent agent can look like.

She’s an instinctive scout, a natural connector, and unapologetically driven to discover that next star in the sky. Fitness, family, and a fierce sense of responsibility are what keep her grounded.  Junior agent by day, super mum by night… Flo embodies the strength of our women and the future of talent leadership at LUMA.
