Tia sagapolutele

Self-proclaimed ka'a princess, resident cool girl, and unofficial Princess of Britomart. Tia is the kind of creative who makes you wonder if there's actually more than 24 hours in her day (spoiler: there isn't, she's just like that).

A proud Samoan multihyphenate from Tāmaki Makaurau, Tia's feed is a mood board that comes to life. Fit checks that have no business going that hard, elevated streetwear moments, and the occasional Guo Pei exhibition visit because casual cultural enrichment is very much her thing. She doesn't chase trends, she simply gets dressed and the trends take notes.

But make no mistake, behind the immaculate style is serious substance. Tia co-founded TULOU, a Pacific contemporary arts collective, and co-leads Period7, running free creative workshops for young artists in South Auckland because pulling up for community isn't a side quest, it's the whole mission. Her choreographic work fuses Siva Samoa, hip-hop, and contemporary dance across stages from Germany to Te Papa, and she once placed at Hip Hop Worlds in Vegas with The Royal Family before most of us even knew what a mega-crew was.

Now she's shaping culture at Britomart as their Engagement Manager. Programming the art, the dance battles, and the energy of Auckland's most iconic precinct. It makes sense. Who better to run the kingdom than the princess herself?

The creative. The community builder. The closet we all wish we could raid.
